Natural bodybuilding: what are our limits?

In this world 🌎 where appearance counts for a lot, where the appearance of others determines how we live and above all where we want to get everything in no time, naturalness and authenticity are outdated concepts.

So I realize that the topic I'm about to address about the natural boundary in bodybuilding is sensitive and sometimes provocative in the fitness world, but it still deserves to be considered.✅✅

What is the natural limit of bodybuilding?

Several studies and theories from professional bodybuilders, sports medicine specialists and sports coaches have shown that there is a natural limit to how much you can increase your muscle mass.

It's different for everyone and depends on a list of factors, which I admit is not exhaustive, such as genetics, motivation, starting weight, bone structure, training methods and years of training, and even the level of fat in the body.👍

Some have even tried to use formulas to calculate muscle growth, but these data remain theoretical. For my part, I think they are useful, but they should not be relied upon because they provide the genetic potential for muscle growth under optimal conditions. By optimal conditions I mean an ideal diet, plenty of sleep and recovery, continuous and regular training, in short a "special bodybuilding" lifestyle.😎

Muscle building with or without doping products

It is important to know that muscle hypertrophy is closely linked to the male hormone testosterone. This is why physical strength and muscle development in men is far superior to that of women, with an average rate that is 20 times higher than in women.

The principle is the same in bodybuilding, as a natural bodybuilder will always be less massive and strong than one who uses steroids or anabolics.👈

With the natural limit in bodybuilding and the fact that the body cannot do everything by itself, drugs always seem to be the "solution". On the question of building muscle with or without doping products, I would say that it depends on your goals👈😉, as there are levels of muscle development that can be achieved naturally.

On the other hand, it is important to make the best training choice, especially since distance building is currently becoming more and more democratic thanks to pioneers like Rudy Coia or Nassim Sahili.💯

How can you tell if someone is doping?

If you want to know if the people you meet at the gym or your idols on social networks are doping, there are a few clues:

  • Massive, swollen and round pecs, bulky shoulders and oversized trapezius muscles are classic signs, as is very thin skin.✅
  • Swollen nipples that are highly visible under the shirt are sometimes linked to steroid use (so-called gynecomastia).✅
  • A person who is large, strong and very dry is often doped.✅
  • A person whose physique changes completely and very quickly may be doped.✅
  • People who make a living from their physique, such as some influencers, who shout from the rooftops that they are not doped, are generally... doped.✅

This information can help you spot people who are using steroids. However, there are exceptions: some people have extraordinary genetics that allow them to get a physique without resorting to doping.💪👍
